Three day weekends are supposed to be for relaxing...well not with this family! Yard work, visits to friends and family and tonight we're wiped. Especially Caroline! I think she misses having Miss Dot around to keep her on a schedule. Mommy and Daddy stress her out with all their running around.
Friday night we had dinner at 5:30 (b/c thats what parents of infants do) with the Pattons. The girls were very well behaved. Beth and Sky had that 'nervous bc its the first time in a restaurant as a family' thing going on but Fiona did great. Hopefully she'll stop ignoring Caroline soon. hehe Really though, we can't wait til they can play together. How much fun will we have? Then maybe Beth and I can actually be friends again. Right now its a little bit hard to juggle time together. Today we saw eachother at the nail salon for five minutes. We both were fortunate to get out and get pedicures finally so we can stop offending people when we wear flip flops, but we weren't able to coordinate it that we went together. aaah! It was much easier when they were in our bellies and we could just talk about them.
We visited with Auntie Mom Mom and Uncle Pop Pop Campbell over at Nana and Papa's. Caroline has a new high chair over at Nana's and she loves it! She sat in it and ate her cereal...she's so grown up!
Yesterday we visited with Patty and Todd and her other best friend to be...and today Simmie and Dana came down to visit. So now we are pooped! After yard work and house work and cooking and eating...its about time to say goodbye to this three day weekend!
