Hi all! So we just returned from a week at the beach and it was such a blast. Caroline seriously LOVES being outside and swimming and everything that goes along with it, so it was pure bliss for her for the week. We took her to the beach just once, b/c the set up at the house was so great, and when we did she had a blast. Why am I suprised that my kid would be the one who runs head first into the ocean. She still calls all things with water/pools etc 'beach' but we taught her 'ocean' when we were at the beach, so hopefully she starts to make sense of it all. haha.
She's suprising us everyday with her new party tricks. She 'counts' to 12. Has no idea what counting means,but has it all memorized and loves to recite it. She is singing her alphabet (favorite letter is X). My new favorite animal that she does is flamingo, in which she stands on one leg. She's a sponge and its fun to get her to mimic us. This weekend I taught her to say with shoulder movements and attitude "You Talkin to ME?'. Its priceless!
She's a total bull. No other way to describe it. She runs head first in to things constantly and gets up and does it all over again. Bruises and bumps are all over her legs but it doesn't seem to phase her in the least. She did learn what a boo boo is though and uses the term a little too frequently. LOL!
She is loving her stuffed animals and keeps them in her crib at night. She talks to them in the a.m. and at night. Its very sweet.
Well we're back to real life and she took a 3.5 hr nap today! She's just waking up....so enjoy the pics and I'll write more later this week. Promise.
